A savoury, elegant red from the heart of Georgian wine country. Kindzmarauli is a classic red, semi-sweet wine and is made of specially selected Saperavi grapes of Kindzmarauli microzone. This wine benefits from a Protected Designation of Origin (PDO) status and its quality is assured. 

Tasting Notes

• Colour: dark purple-violet colour.
• Nose: cherry and blackberry tones
• Palate: Rvelvety taste and lively acidity, well combined with natural sweetness. 
• Finish: Full-bodied and structured.

Winemaking method

Saperavi grapes are hand picked at the optimum of their maturity. Soft de-stemming and crushing is followed by fermentation at a controlled temperature 23-28 degrees Celsius in stainless steel tanks. Wine is fermented using the cultural yeast strains. Skin and cap management is performend by delestage and remontage. 

After 5 to 7 days of maceration, when usually the desired levels of residual sugar is reached, fermentation is stopped by cooling, in order to retain the natural sweetness and freshness of the wine. Afterwards wine is kept cold at around 0 degrees Celsius.
