A savoury, elegant red from the heart of Georgian wine country. Kindzmarauli is a classic red, semi-sweet wine and is made of specially selected Saperavi grapes of Kindzmarauli microzone. This wine benefits from a Protected Designation of Origin (PDO) status and its quality is assured. 

Tasting Notes

• Colour: Dark ruby colour.
• Nose: The wine perfectly expresses a bouquet of red berry tones.
• Palate: Velvety taste, well combined with natural sweetness. 
• Finish: Dry. Full-bodied and structured.

Food Pairing

Superb with red meat, especially lamb and beef, and a great match for spicy dishes. It also works beautifully with chicken, salads, and both fresh and aged cheeses, or simply enjoy it on its own as an aperitif.

Winemaking method

Saperavi grapes are hand picked at the optimum of their maturity. Soft de-stemming and crushing is followed by fermentation at a controlled temperature 25-27 degrees Celsius in stainless steel tanks. By placing the wine under correct ambient conditions it evolvs correctly to desired finish. Skin and cap management is performend by delestage and remontage.
